NURSE AIDE PROGRAMS

Welcome! Carolinas College of Health Sciences has a dynamic Nurse Aide I and Nurse Aide II program where students can begin to explore endless opportunities for touching the lives of others.

Nurse Aides care for patients under the direction of registered nurses, practical nurses and physicians. They provide personal care such as assisting patients with eating, bathing and other daily activities. Additionally, nurse aides may take vital signs, weights and assist the nursing staff or physician with treatments. Nurse aides work in hospitals, physician offices, nursing homes or other extended care facilities or in private homes.

Dates and times are tentative and can be found in the brochures at the bottom of this page. Confirmation of registration is offered on a space available basis. Competency evaluation is a part of course completion, but competency testing will be scheduled following the end of the course and may have a separate fee.

Facilities
Classes are taught at Carolinas College of Health Sciences on the campus of Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
